Meet the Mayor Don E. McCourt

Don E. McCourt has served as Mayor for the Town of Addison for a period of thirteen years. He is the Fire Chief for the Webster Springs Volunteer Fire Department where he has served for 55 years. Making improvements to the town has been a top priority for Mayor McCourt since taking office. The Mayor's passion is Baker's Island (park located in the middle of town). He will often be seen working on the ballfield during baseball season.
Mayor Don E. McCourt was just recently surprised with a well deserved award by having the baseball field at Baker's Island named after him. Mayor McCourt works tirelessly during the off season as well as during baseball season to prepare the field for play for high school or little league games.
